![]() They kept going offline and online, couldn't always get a live view. So I placed an order for a set of Laview cameras back in July 2021, they was working OK for a couple months. Warning to all potential purchasers: DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND. I am now stuck with a $***** video surveillance system that is useless. Combined with the present lack of success to contact the company the technical support received early during my ownership was pathetic, condescending, and often incorrect. It is not possible to make contact with the company. In fact, never, for the entire time I owned the system not one email support request out of many has been answered. After one week wait time no response has been received from the messages. There is no telephone support number and only an online message and email address to make contact. No effort on my part to correct the problem has been successful. ![]() The software says incorrect camera password. On completion of this procedure no cameras are working. Then most of the system settings needed to be confirmed or reset. Eventually a new password was entered, by trial and error and contrary to posted instructions. No amount of rebooting or resetting the base unit or internet router could avoid the new password. ![]() A visit to the base unit revealed that a new password was required. This worked for another few months then suddenly the entire system stopped being accessible online. Eventually the system was made workable, with remote viewing activated. Many calls to Technical Support were required, and included many hours of frustration and grief. ![]() After significant difficulty the system was made workable. 12 cameras installed on apartment building for security reasons. LaView video surveillance system bought several years ago. ![]()
